A local, traveling baked-goods vendor received recognition for donating two snowmobile helmets to the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office.

During the July 15th Board of Carbon County Commissioners meeting, Sheriff Alex Bakken said Deputy Zach Fall and his fiancé used the proceeds from their newly created mobile business, Bagels and Badges, to purchase two 509 brand snowmobile helmets for the sheriff’s department.

Sheriff Bakken said he personally enjoys the food from Bagels and Badges.

Deputy Fall’s fiancé Briana Yukniewicz, who was a police officer for seven years, said she started making her own bagels while living in Tampa, Floridia. As the owner of Bagels and Badges, Yukniewicz said she wants to show her appreciation to local emergency personnel.

The county commissioners thanked Deputy Fall and his fiancé for the generous donation.
