Wyoming basketball: The Cowboys were up by nine at the half on Friday night but held Southeastern Louisiana in the second half for a three-point, 64-61, win inside the Arena Auditorium.

Wyoming struggled from the field most of the night but used the offensive glass for 14 second chance points.

Head coach Sundance Wicks put it this way, after the Cowboys improved to 4-1 on the season.

The Cowboys were led by Jordan Nesbitt with a double-double, 13 points and 15 rebounds, for his third double-double of the season.

Wyoming heads to the Cancun Challenge next Tuesday taking on Tulane in a contest at 4 p.m. MT on CBS Sports Network. We won’t carry any of the games here because I’m letting the staff take the week off since we don’t get to go to Cancun.
