If you love a white Thanksgiving, you’re in luck.
A winter storm warning has been issued for both Albany and Carbon Counties. The projected storm area reaches from the Colorado State line north to the Shirley Basin and from Rawlins on the west to Laramie on the east.
Heavy snow is forecast with total snow accumulations ranging from 12 to 24 inches.
Both the Sierra Madres and the Snowy Range will likely see heavy snow amounts.
Forecasters say travel could become difficult to impossible.
