Christmas arrives Friday evening in Saratoga with the annual Festival of Trees held at the Platte Valley Community Center.
The yuletide auction items, including an array of decorated trees, centerpieces, gift baskets, and other holiday items can be previewed Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the PVCC.
The gala and live auction serves as a major fundraiser for the Platte Valley/Saratoga Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds from this year’s event will also benefit the Upper Valley Search and Rescue East Division.
The doors to the Great Hall at the Platte Valley Community Center will open at 5p.m.
The culinary students at the Encampment High School are preparing the feast to be served to the guests before the auction begins.
