Cold shooting and turnovers spelled doom for the Cowboys on the road at Boise State in a 96-55 loss Tuesday night.
The Cowboys are now 9-8 overall, 2-4 in conference play.
The Broncos put together a lot of runs in the first half inside the ExtraMile Arena to get the big league. The Broncos doubled up the Pokes 50-21 by the break. They didn’t let up in the second half.
Obi Agbim, coming back from the ankle injury, led Wyoming with 16 points for his 15th double-double of the season. He played 30 minutes for the Pokes in his first game back in the lineup.
The Broncos shot 59 percent on the night, going 13 of 26 from three-point range.
After the loss, Head Coach Sundance Wicks was already looking ahead to the Wyoming – Boise State game on Saturday inside the Double A.
Wyoming hosts Colorado State on Saturday, January 18 inside the Arena-Auditorium for the first Border War matchup of the season at 2 p.m.
