The Wyoming Cowboys football schedule was released Thursday.

Six home games are scheduled for Laramie this year. The Cowboys will be at home in the War for back-to-back weekends in September.

September 6 and September 13 are the dates. After opening the season at Akron on Thursday night August 28, the Cowboys will return home to take on Northern Iowa and then Utah in the Mountain West opener.

The Pokes will be on the road in Boulder to take on the Buffs September 20th. The following week is a bye.

The Cowboys will then play back-to-back games at home, October 4th against UNLV and San Jose State October 11.

The Pokes will then travel to Air Force before returning home for a Border War matchup on Saturday, October 25th.

Wyoming will play one game at home the month of November. On Saturday the 22nd, the Pokes will entertain Nevada.

The Cowboys will be on the road at Fresno State on the 25th and then they’ll close out the regular season in Hawaii on Saturday, November 29.

The Old Trapper Mountain West Trapper game will be played on Saturday, December 5.
