HEM students are asking for costume donations for a play that they will present next month.

On Thursday, April 3rd, students from the Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow school will stage a musical comedy version of Cinderella, called Twinderella.

HEM Music Teacher Kit Felton explained that the play features Cinderella’s lesser-known twin brother, Bob. Felton is seeking donations of dress clothes and baseball jerseys that will fit teenagers.

Felton said she needs approximately 15 ball-gown-type dresses for the girls. As for the boys, Felton said she also needs 15 dress shirts. However, the HEM music teacher said she is more concerned about obtaining baseball-related clothes for the boys.

Felton said she has been having trouble finding dress clothes that fit teenagers. Without enough money to buy new clothes, Felton is asking her colleagues and the community to donate clothing.

If you would like to donate dress clothes or baseball jerseys to the students’ musical production, please call the Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow High School at 325-6545. Felton asked that all donations be received by the last week of March.
