Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have fallen 2.3 cents per gallon in the last week. Prices at the pump averaged $3.07 per gallon on Monday, according to Gas Buddy’s survey of 494 stations in Wyoming.
Statewide, prices in Wyoming are 4.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 18.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, two months prior to the presidential election last November.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the lowest price in the state on Sunday was $2.68 per gallon, while the highest was $4.49, a difference of $1.81 per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 3.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.12 on Monday. The national average is down 1.8 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 2.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
The national average price of diesel has decreased 2.6 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.658 per gallon.
