An icy windshield is being blamed for an early morning rollover crash in Rawlins.

Yesterday morning, the Rawlins Police Department Facebook page announced a rollover crash near East Murray Street. According to the post, an unidentified female driver of a white Subaru struck a parked white Dodge Durango while attempting to drive with an obstructed view. She was reportedly trying to clear overnight frost from the windshield when the incident occurred.

No serious injuries were reported.

The Rawlins Police Department reminded residents that officers will issue citations to drivers who fail to fully clear their windshields before driving, adding that the crash was entirely avoidable.
