A season-opening Border War is coming to Canvas Stadium.
The Colorado State and Wyoming football teams have announced that the rivalry game will continue for the 2026 season, with the teams scheduled to play September 5 in Fort Collins.
The nonconference game will be the first game for CSU as a member of the PAC-12 while Wyoming remains in the Mountain West.
CSU is dropping a road game at Indiana and Wyoming is dropping a home game against North Texas to get the Border War on the 2026 schedule.
