The Wildfire Recovery Webinar, scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, will go on, despite the federal government shutdown.
On Friday, the Wyoming Grants Management Office (GMO) has confirmed that this week’s free 90-minute Wildfire Recovery Webinar will be held with or without participation from federal partners.
Governor Mark Gordon said in a statement, “After two big fire years, wildfire recovery and restoration is a top priority for Wyoming and it is in our nature to climb back on when we get bucked. This webinar is not only an opportunity for those impacted to explore potential funding options, it will also provide valuable insights about restoration and protecting our state’s precious natural resources.”
The Zoom-based meeting will discuss Wyoming Wildfire Recovery resources and efforts. It will include information about available funding resources.
