The stage is set for the return of Josh Allen to War Memorial Field in Laramie on Saturday.

The 4-6 Cowboys will close out their home schedule looking for a must-have win over Nevada to keep Wyoming’s bowl hopes alive.  Also on Saturday, 20 seniors on the Wyoming roster, including Jaylen Sargent, John Michael Gyllenborg, and Evan Svoboda, will be honored in their final game before a large, home crowd in Laramie.

Perhaps the biggest draw of all will be the return of nationally celebrated quarterback Josh Allen for the ceremony around the retirement of his #17 jersey during half-time celebrations.

War Memorial Stadium should be packed. The weather in Laramie is expected to be sunny with a high around 50 at game time. No snow is in the forecast. Roads should be clear.

Cowboys head coach Jay Sawvel set the tone this week.

Wyoming struggled to score this season against Mountain West teams. Nevada is coming off their biggest win of the season—a 55-10 win over San Jose State.

The stage is set for a classic Mountain West showdown tomorrow. Bigfoot 99 will have all of the action beginning with the pregame show at 10:30. Kickoff is set for high noon.
