The Wyoming Cowgirls open Mountain West play tonight as San Jose State comes to Laramie. Tip is set for a 6:30 Wednesday night.
This is the first of a 20-game conference slate for the Wyoming Cowgirls.
Wyoming is coming off two straight losses to close out the non-conference schedule.
The Cowgirls took a pounding from Minnesota on Sunday, losing 80-34. A week earlier, the Wyoming women lost to Colorado in Boulder 58-46.
Malene Pedersen has led UW in scoring in all nine games this season. Pedersen is averaging 16.3 points per game and ranks third in the Mountain West.
Wyoming is 3-0 in conference home openers under Head Coach Heather Ezell and is 2-1 in overall Mountain West openers.
Bigfoot 99 will be on the air at 6 p.m. with the pregame show. Tip at 6:30.
