The Wyoming Cowgirls started out slow on Saturday but finished strong in a 74-56 win over Utah State in Logan, Utah.

Scoreless after three-minutes and trailing by nine points, the Cowgirls came out of a timeout and began their turnaround. Malene Pedersen broke the drought and put Wyoming on the board. The Cowgirls went on a 10-0 run and held on for the rest of the game.

The Cowgirls return home, looking for their fourth-straight win, as Fresno State comes to Laramie for a 6:30 pm tip on Wednesday.
