For the second week in a row, average gasoline prices rose at the pump. Since last week, prices have jumped 6.5 cents per gallon.

According to its recent canvas of 494 filling stations in Wyoming, GasBuddy.com reported yesterday prices are averaging $2.48 per gallon.

According to its weekly report, the lowest price in Wyoming on Sunday was $2.09 per gallon, while the highest was $2.99, a difference of 90 cents per gallon.

The national average price of gasoline has risen 7.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.84 per gallon on Monday. The national average is up 3.6 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 23.9 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.

Although the price at the pump did rise, drivers are still paying less for gasoline than at any point during the Joe Biden presidency.

The national average price of diesel has increased 7.8 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.543 per gallon.
