- At the legislature, Senator Larry Hicks kept the West Fork Reservoir Project alive Tuesday by dialing back his request. After being put on his heels Monday when his 40-million dollar ask for the 10-thousand acre foot reservoir on Battle Pass met heavy resistance, Hicks offered a new amendment yesterday that trimmed the appropriation to just 10-million dollars.The changes provided enough safeguards to put it back into play.
- While the SCWEMS board appeared to be falling apart last week, the future looks bright with newly appointed members and cooperating agencies beginning to approve amendments to the Joint Powers Agreement.
- While the Rawlins Outlaws await the State tournament later this week, the 1A post season accolades have been released, Carbon County got a lot of love in the voting.
