5th penny and lodging taxes key in receiving impact assistance funds
Local officials have been pushing for a “yes” vote for Carbon County’s 5th penny sales and use tax and two percent lodging tax in next week’s election. Those optional taxes may pack a bigger financial punch than usual this year. Carbon County Economic Development Corporation seeks leaders
The Carbon County Economic Development Corporation will soon begin accepting applications for the 2019 Leadership Carbon County class. The class is organized for the purpose of identifying key individuals with leadership qualities and concern for the future of the county, and then providing those individuals with the opportunity to become more familiar with the county’s needs, resources and issues.
