County Clerk explains what voters need to bring to the polls
It’s Election Day across Wyoming and the nation. Polls are open here until 7 p.m. this evening. Residents can register at the polls, but personal identification will be needed. Carbon County Clerk Gwynn Bartlett explained what voters need when they go to the polls today.
Absentee ballots are due at the County Clerk’s office in Rawlins by 7 p.m. tonight.
Platte Valley residents invited to share input to healthcare public forum
In Saratoga, the new Healthcare Sustainability Project Committee invites area residents to the Platte Valley Community Center at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to meet the new operator of the medical clinic. Deer drama continues as management plan is resurrected in Rawlins
In Rawlins, the urban deer management plan is back on the table despite dying on a tied vote last month. The return of the controversial measure to control in-town deer through lethal methods is producing new tensions among council members already divided over the longstanding issue. Those who cast the dissenting votes to kill the proposal told Bigfoot 99 they aren’t happy about seeing it come up again. Cali O’Hare has the story.
