Report reveals more details about Rawlins police shooting

The plaintiffs and the defendants in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the survivors of an unarmed Colorado man shot and killed by Rawlins police three years ago have filed their lists of expert witnesses that will testify when the case goes to trial. The reports from the law enforcement experts reveal more details about the case as each side argues whether the officer’s actions in killing John Veach are justifiable.

 

 

Highway Patrol warns drivers to slow down

A dusting of snow of the weekend led to multiple road closures and vehicle crashes in and around Carbon County. The wintry road conditions are an early reminder of what’s to come, and the Wyoming Highway Patrol is issuing a reminder of its own: Slow down on slick roadways. Cali O’Hare reports.
