Average gasoline prices in Wyoming fell by nearly two cents per gallon in the last week, down 1.8 cents, and averaging $3.12 per gallon on Monday. The trend was reported by a survey of 494 stations statewide, according to GasBuddy.com.
As November’s presidential election draws near, prices in Wyoming are 9.1 cents per gallon lower than one month ago and stand 42.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the lowest price in the state on Sunday was $2.79, while the highest was $3.79, a difference of $1 per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 5.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.07 per gallon on Monday. Nationwide, the price at the pump is down 12.9 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 39.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
The national average price of diesel has declined 2.6 cents in the last week and stands at $3.54 per gallon – the lowest level in more than 1,100 days.
