The annual Free Dump Days event has been restructured in Rawlins, so it is spread over two months rather than one week.

The change was made so the city could save money, take some pressure off the small landfill crew tasked with managing the event, and ensure neighboring communities don’t take advantage of the fee waiver while still giving Rawlins residents ample opportunity to clean up their properties.

Cali O’Hare reports on the changes to the 2022 Free Dump Days.
