After adjourning from an hour long executive session, the five members of the Rawlins City Council present at tonight’s regular meeting voted unanimously to terminate City Attorney Amy Bach’s contract, effectively immediately.

The motion was made by Rawlins Mayor Terry Weickum, seconded by Councilman Darril Garner, and was supported by Aaron Durst, DeBari Martinez and Linda Smith. Vice Mayor Jacquelin Wells and Chris Weisenburg were absent from the meeting.

Bigfoot 99’s Cali O’Hare will be talking with city officials today and will have more details on the next steps for the city in finding a replacement.
