In the first nine days since school began, Carbon County School District One has seen absences among both students and staff who are reportedly sick or quarantining because of COVID-19. Mask mandates will not be reinstated yet, but stricter precautions may be on the horizon. Cali O’Hare spoke with the superintendent and filed this report.
