Miller stated School District Two is exploring the possibility of setting up a distribution center in the Medicine Waters Mobile Home Park but they will need to obtain the property owner’s approval beforehand.

Miller said school staff will manage the food distribution centers which will operate on a schedule that will work around the town’s needs.

Miller explained the free food program will run from July 1st through the beginning of the school year.

Because the school employees will not sell or cook the food on site, Mayor Chuck Davis said they do not need a permit.

The Saratoga town council unanimously voted to allow Carbon County School District Two to use town-owned property to distribute free food this summer.
