The City of Rawlins announced new water restrictions on Friday ahead of watering season. City officials cited reduced flows related to ongoing infrastructure issue and uptick in demand as reasons for the “Level D” restrictions. Under the restrictions, lawns may only be watered one day a week for one hour before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m.

Bigfoot 99 is working this development in the city’s ongoing water problems and story and will have more details tomorrow.
