If you’re unleashing your inner Clark Griswold this holiday season in Rawlins, folks may not need a map to find your decorated house. It’s visible from the Space Station. For those whose idea of Christmas lights hung from the house with care is more subtle and down to earth, you can share your location with the annual holiday display map.

For the third year in a row, the City of Rawlins is compiling a map and photo album of homes and businesses lit up for the holidays. Public Information Officer Mira Miller said the map does not list specific addresses or names, only the general area. Miller said about 20 houses were on last year’s map.

Having the map saves time and gas. You can print out the map or use your smartphone to hit the bright spots. Miller said it’s easy to have your house listed on the map.

Last year’s map included some great photos of houses that even Clark Griswold might be envious of. To participate call 328-4500 extension 1022 or visit rawlinswy.gov/holidaymap.
