In Rawlins, the latest recipient of the Community Builder Award is Damien Cesko.

City Council recognized Cesko’s many contributions to the city by resolution at its regular meeting on August 2nd. Early this year, a committee comprised of city employees began recognizing volunteers or other residents who dedicate time and energy to making the community a better place to live for all.

Jason Sehon read from a long list of bullet-points listing all of the different ways Cesko pitches in to help out.

At the beginning of his presentation, Sehon read a couple of quotes he attributed to Cesko.

The Community Builder Award is presented monthly to a local business or individual for their volunteer service, sponsorship or promotion of programs and events, outstanding service in the interest of the city and for other contributions to the quality of life in Rawlins.
