Carbon County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Medicine Bow resident for fentanyl possession.
Yesterday morning, Sheriff Alex Bakken announced that agents from the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office, Wyoming Highway Patrol, and the Division of Criminal Investigation executed a search warrant at a Medicine Bow residence on Monday evening. Inside the home, officers discovered over 400 illegal fentanyl pills.
As the incident is part of an ongoing investigation, authorities are withholding the address of the residence and the name of the subject or subjects.
Sheriff Bakken thanked his partners at Wyoming Highway Patrol and the Division of Criminal Investigation. The sheriff also recognized his deputies and the emergency dispatchers who work together to keep dangerous substances such as fentanyl off the streets.
