The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office will hold an impounded vehicle auction this Thursday.

Yesterday afternoon, Sheriff Alex Bakken announced that his department will hold a vehicle auction on Thursday, February 27th. In his lighthearted social media post, Sheriff Bakken mentioned that the following five “high-demand vehicles” will be up for sale: a gold 2006 Hyundai Elantra, a silver 2013 Hyundai Elantra, a blue 2002 Subaru Forester, a maroon colored 2009 Dodge Caravan, and a silver 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer.

The sheriff did not provide mileage for any of the listed vehicles. However, Sheriff Bakken said all vehicles are sold in “as-is” condition.

The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office Impound Auto Auction begins at 10:00 am this Thursday, February 27th, at 913 Airport Road, in Rawlins. For more information, call the sheriff’s department at 324-2776.
