Anglers have a few more weeks to empty Saratoga Lake of as many fish as possible before Wyoming Game and Fish kills the rest.

Creel and possession limits are still suspended ahead of the scheduled rotenone treatment scheduled for late September. Sportsmen are still required to have a valid fishing license to take advantage of the opportunity to catch as many brown, rainbow and tiger trout as you want. Only legal fishing and tackle methods are allowed.

All fish should be cleaned and not wasted.

The lake will be treated with rotenone to prevent the spread of illegally stocked yellow perch. Game and Fish officials have said the lake will be restocked in the spring and fishing should return to normal quickly.
