The City of Rawlins passed the second of two tests required by the EPA to lift the boil water advisory that was put in place on March 3rd.

After six days without potable water, officials and residents alike celebrated yesterday afternoon as the boil water advisory was lifted shortly before 3 p.m., allowing residents and businesses to get back to some sense of normalcy.

Although they no longer need to boil the water, citizens must still make every effort to conserve it. Cali O’Hare has the latest on the situation from the Carbon County Coordination Center.
