Unless something drastic happens between now and Sunday, 4th of July fireworks displays across the county will go on as scheduled.

Carbon County Fire Warden John Rutherford initially believed conditions would warrant fire restrictions for the county itself prior to Independence Day, but the recent moisture in the Rawlins-Sinclair area has led him to change his mind. Stage 1 restrictions remain in place throughout the Medicine Bow National Forest. Cali O’Hare reports.
