A wildfire on Saturday burned about 45 acres of hay meadow and pasture on the TA Ranch off Pass Creek Road. The fire started as controlled burn and became out of control in the windy conditions. Saratoga, Ryan Park, and Encampment VFDs all responded. Wind made it hard to catch and keep shut down, but firefighters corralled the blaze.
