Hanna man sentenced in child porn case
A Hanna man who faced multiple criminal charges related to child porn was sentenced this week in U.S. District Court. Michael Pipher received the mandatory minimum sentence for a single count of receiving the illegal material.
Federal prosecutors dismissed two other charges as part of a plea deal. Cali O’Hare has more.
Saratoga requests accounting report
The Town of Saratoga has requested that its third party accountant, James Childress, appear at their February 18th meeting to report on the work he has completed reviewing the municipality’s finances.
From there, the governing body will determine to contract with Childress to do more accounting sleuth work. Emma Diercks reports.
Rawlins puts hold on Antelope Flats sales
The City of Rawlins has decided to hold off on selling the commercially-zoned lots at Antelope Flats.
The interim city manager recommended the decision in consultation with the city attorney.
