Carbon County prepares for possible flooding
Carbon County could see a lot of rain this weekend—perhaps two inches or more, the National Weather Service says. Combined with mountain snowmelt, Saratoga is on alert for minor flooding.

Hannum passed over for Campbell County job
Bigfoot 99 broke the story last week that Rawlins City Manager Scott Hannum was a finalist for the open county fire chief position in northeast Wyoming.
Hanum didn’t get the job, but Cali O’Hare looked into how the search for a successor would have gone if had.
Facade celebration postponed
Also in Rawlins, the downtown facade celebration originally scheduled for this evening has been postponed because of scheduling conflicts. Cali O’Hare has the details.
County takes over Old Baldy building permits
After month of legal review, an MOU between the Town of Saratoga and Carbon County to implement a referral boundary is now back before the Saratoga Planning Commission.
The new draft eliminates the town issuing building permits for the Old Baldy Club.
