Old Baldy members request delay in ordinance changes

Saratoga officials have been working for months to ensure everyone in town is on an equal basis when it comes to paying their water bills. Some users pay less because they live in locations where taps are clustered behind what is known as a master meter.

The changes to the ordinance appeared to be going through the lengthy process without a hitch, until this week when members of the exclusive Old Baldy Club interjected. Emma Diercks has the story.

A Rawlins city councilman is promoting Wyoming 211 as a way to connect residents with answers to their questions.

Landfill board clearing up confusion

Going to the landfill in Saratoga can be confusing. Where does lawn waste go? How about the old refrigerator?

The Upper Platte Valley Solid Waste Disposal District is trying to help reduce the confusion.

The landfill board is held a presentation in Saratoga this week explaining why some items have to be diverted to the construction and demolition pit.
