You may have a little money left over for Christmas after filling up your car or truck with gas this year.

Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have fallen by nearly a dime per gallon—8.4 cents to be exact- in the last week. According to GasBuddy.Com’s survey of 494 stations in Wyoming—prices averaged $2.63 per gallon on Monday.

Prices in Wyoming are 26.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 26.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were still in the White House.

According to this week’s report, the lowest price in Wyoming on Sunday was $2.12, while the highest was $3.34, a difference of $1.22 per gallon.

The national average price of gasoline has fallen 5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.90 per gallon Monday. The national average is down 17.6 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 7.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.

By comparison, drivers in Los Angeles are paying about $3.80 per gallon—about a dollar per gallon more than in Wyoming.

The national average price of diesel has decreased 5.1 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.671 per gallon.
