At high noon on June 9th, 1903, the first bucket of ore carried over the aerial tramway was dumped into a bin at the North American Copper Company’s terminal in Grand Encampment. To celebrate the 118th anniversary of the event, the Grand Encampment Museum is unveiling a scaled model of the tramway on June 9th at 2 p.m.
