Wyoming residents will have more money left in their pockets after filling up at the gas station this holiday season. Prices continue to fall.

Based on the weekly report from Gas.Buddy.com, a technology company that uses crowdsourcing to track fuel prices at the pump in the United States and Canada, average gasoline prices in Wyoming have fallen 11.2 cents per gallon in the last week.

The price now averages $2.45 per gallon on Monday, according to a survey of 494 stations in Wyoming.

Prices in Wyoming are 31.3 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and nearly 40-cents per gallon lower than a year ago when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were still in the White House.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the lowest price in the state on Sunday was $2.05, while the highest was $3.35, a difference of $1.30 per gallon.

The national average price of gasoline has fallen 5.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.79 per gallon on Monday.

The national average is down 26.4 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 21.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data. The data is compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.

The national average price of diesel has decreased 4.3 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.575 per gallon.
