Highway 287 scheduled to close for military training exercise

Two days after the 20th Anniversary of 9/11, Rawlins residents will see the heavy presence of U.S. Military north of the city. Highway 287 north to Lamont will even close for a few hours to allow for a joint training exercise involving several branches of the Armed Forces.
