It’s that festive time of year. The city of Rawlins is once again creating a map showing the locations of residents’ Christmas decorations. Starting in 2020, Rawlins Community Relations Manager Mira Miller has compiled a map of Christmas decorations throughout the city.
Miller said the Holiday Display Map is a useful tool for finding Christmas light displays.
It’s like the candy cane trail. Signing up to have your home on the city’s Christmas light map is free. Miller said go online or call her to register. The Rawlins Community Relations Manager said your address is all that is needed to add you to the map.
A picture of your home is not required.
The deadline for submitting your home for inclusion on the city’s Holiday Display Map is November 29th. Miller said your decorations do not need to be up before you submit your address.
Miller said the 2023 Rawlins Holiday Display Map will be available to the public to view on December 1st.
