Photo – Burned house in Hanna – By Matt Copeland Bigfoot99

An early morning fire over the weekend has displaced a Hanna town council member and her family.

Around 2:00 am on Monday morning, Hanna firefighters responded to a fire at the home of Hanna councilwoman Alice Million. Details about the blaze on Feldspar Court are scarce, but a Facebook post by a family member states that Alice’s son Brody was being treated for second degree burns.

The home at 1019 Feldspar Court appears to be a total loss. The entire right side of the house is gutted, and a burned-out car sits in the driveway.

News of the fire spread quickly on social media. Residents across Carbon County offered donations of household items, such as blankets and towels. However, the Million family asked people to wait on their donations until they find out exactly what they still need.

Bigfoot99 has attempted to reach out to the Million family and Carbon County firefighters for more details about the blaze. We will report back if any new information comes to light.
