Great news for drivers headed on holiday vacation, whether it’s a trip to see family or to ski the mountains.
Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have fallen 6.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.56 per gallon on Monday, according to a statewide survey of 494 stations in Wyoming by GasBuddy.com.
Prices in Wyoming are 29.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 30.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were still in office.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the lowest price in the state on Sunday was $2.12 per gallon, while the highest was $3.39, a difference of $1.27 per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 4.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.85 on Monday. The national average is down 22 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 12.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
The national average price of diesel has decreased 5.3 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.618 per gallon.
