In its first round of billing users in the town of Saratoga, the Upper Platte River Solid Waste Disposal District billed out a little more than $7,000 more this month than what the board had been receiving from the municipality.

An aggregated amount of $54,000 worth of bills went out when the town had only been returning about $46,000 a month. Emma Diercks has the story.
