In Rawlins, the city’s longtime building official Lou Lascano has been hired as the Director of Community Development.

The position, which was created in January, oversees the city’s central shop, facilities division, the building official, engineer, and the landfill and recycling center.

Lascano replaces Danielle Gross, who served in the position for a little more than three months before accepting a position out-of-state.

Bigfoot 99’s Cali O’Hare sat down with Lascano and filed this report.
