Over the weekend, firefighters from multiple agencies in Carbon County participated in training exercises meant to prepare them for the upcoming wildfire season, which is anticipated to begin in-late June to July.

The trainings took place in Rawlins, beginning Saturday morning at Fire Station #2, and in the afternoon at a less likely location. Bigfoot 99’s Cali O’Hare attended the afternoon training session and filed this report.
