Carbon County School District #2 can accept donations of beef from local ranchers. In a news release Thursday, CCSD2 said any donated beef must be processed at a USDA approved facility.
Two USDA facilities in the area are listed in the release. They are 307 Meat Co. in Laramie, and Mountain Meats in Craig, CO.
Grant funds are available for processing.
