It’s all too easy to lose the true meaning of Memorial Day in the excitement of a long weekend. Remembrance ceremonies are planned in Rawlins, Saratoga and the Little Snake River Valley this weekend to honor military veterans who have passed away. Cali O’Hare has the details.

Memorial Day Services
Saratoga:
Friday, May 28th 4 p.m. flag placement at the cemetery
Monday, May 31st 11 a.m. Memorial Day Service at Cemetery Chapel; luncheon to follow at American Legion Post #54
Rawlins:
Saturday, May 29th 9 a.m. flag placement at the cemetery
Monday, May 31st 10 a.m. Memorial Day Service at cemetery
Monday, May 31st 4 p.m. remove flags from graves
Little Snake River Valley:
Sunday, May 30th 11 a.m. Memorial Day Service at Reader Cemetery
Sunday, May 30th 12 p.m. BBQ at Little Snake River Museum
