Memorial Hospital of Carbon County is offering a variety of free and low-cost services for residents.
Memorial Hospital will provide low-cost blood draws. Chief Operating Officer Stephanie Hinkle explained blood testing is an excellent tool for understanding your current health and offers valuable insights on how to live a healthier life.
Blood draw packages range from $70, for what Memorial Hospital refers to as a basic lab package, up to $305, for a male or female premium package that includes everything from the lower tier bundles plus Testosterone and Estradiol testing.
Memorial Hospital will provide blood draws around the county, starting on February 28 at the Rawlins Family Clinic. On March 7, MHCC will be at the Baggs branch of the Carbon County Higher Education Center. The following Tuesday, March 11, blood draws will take place at the Hanna Family Clinic. Finally, on March 21, blood testing will occur at the Platte Valley Health Center in Saratoga.
All blood testing will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. and no appointments are needed.
Chief Operating Officer Hinkle emphasized that people do not need to attend any of the listed locations to receive low-cost blood testing. Every Carbon County resident is eligible for a discounted blood draw once a year at the Rawlins hospital.
Low-cost blood testing will also be offered during the Third Annual Care Fair on Saturday, April 26th, at the Rawlins Family Recreation Center. Additionally, Hinkle said Memorial Hospital will once again provide staff to review blood test results during the Care Fair.
For the third consecutive year, Memorial Hospital is teaming up with a variety of local health and wellness agencies to organize the annual Care Fair.
Hinkle said the free, family-friendly event offers information on all aspects of health, including medical and financial, to help individuals make informed decisions.
