The Memorial Hospital of Carbon County is seeking nominees for the DAISY Award, an international, nonprofit recognition program honoring extraordinary nurses.

The program was launched at MHCC in December 2019, but restrictions stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic prevented the program from taking off. Now, MHCC is reinvigorating the program, with plans to host the DAISY Awards ceremony in October. Between now and then, residents are encouraged to nominate a nurse whose actions made a difference in their life, or the life of a family member. Cali O’Hare has details.
